Greetings,
I was wondering if this is a closed board, or do you welcome other unknown kindred? I don't mean to intrude on someone else's party.

Respectfully,

No, it's open. We've all of us been pretty busy lately, so it's rather quiet right now, but (as long as the terms of service are followed) we are all for new members. Fresh ideas are a fine thing. Enjoy what's here already, and definitely feel free to post more. We like that sort of thing.

We generally wait to pounce upon newcomers until after they introduce themselves. So, now that you have...*POUNCE*. Welcome to the boards, please feel free to post to your heart's content, and if you have any questions, feel free to PM or email myself or any of the other moderators here.

Thanks very much Misery and Elodea! This question is unrelated but i was wondering if any of you felt anything perhaps strange or uneasy yesterday before the big quake? I have always experienced this, but didn't know that most kindred did also until recently. lol (it just never came up) bad storms yes, but quakes? never thought to even ask anyone until this year.

LOL What quake? Sorry, the earth moving affects me not at all. Now, hurricanes are a different matter, but only local ones.

Welcome to DSDV :)

I'm a storm person, was on a ride at universal studios during a quake and didnt even notice (thought it was part of the ride) hehe... so you can count me out of quake awareness...

lol yea, that is what the majority of friends say too. ( storms) feed off of them and are happy campers. I too! this year however, I am noticing a senstivity towards other things though... strange isn't it?

I wouldnt say strange... I'd say different.. its just another aspect of natural energy and heightened sensitivity... not a bad thing in my books.. and you could make a fortune if you lived in California ;)

lol you'r not kidding! lol The only problem is though, even though i am better at figuring out what may occur; i still don't quite have the when down, so i am jumpy and nervous until it does. lol sounds completely nuts i know. lol Even to me! I'm working on it though i doubt i would charge a fee for something like that. I also doubt very seriously that anyone would believe i could be so sensitive to that kind of thing either so no one would listen anyway. Sometimes i know it will happen, and when (well within a week or so) but not where, so that is a problem also. lol so it is not really much help to anyone anyways, just enough to cause me to lose sleep. I am dealing with it though. It just seems as though it has gotten more defined this year so heck, who knows? Maybe i can fine tune it a bit more... or not! lol Say...any ideas?

well, to the best of my knowledge... limited as it may be... this year has already seen 2 earthquakes in Indonesia that are worse than any in the past century, and the same can be said about a number of other quakes in other parts of the world...

so you may only have to be a little bit sensitive to the tremors to be going crazy at the moment, considering that the tremors themselves are freakishly high and frequent at the moment...

You know that is pretty close to the mark. It is slightly like someone turning up the base amp to four or five times what the normal level should be. I am much more used to it now, but it makes me a little sad sometimes. i deal with it pretty well though since i have dealt with it all of my life. Hurricanes? love the energy, hate the destruction that they cause....

Would it be okay if i invite other kindred souls and such here? I was asked to admin to another boards, but i just told them to go bite thierself, so....lol story of my life. Someone is rude, and sure enough I will no longer be apart of such beings. Everyone has had a time or two when they hurt thier self and need time to heal! I myself seem to be accident prone but I do seem to be a fast healer too, which is really great! lol See how the water helps me. lol Ive broken more bones then you would believe, but anyway i had already begun inviting them there and now since I really could see myself being quite happy here, me thinks a couple or fifty would certainly drop by if its is okay with you..........I do promise to work on the temper too........... he-he!

As long as they aren't RP'ers, bring them along.. whether 'normal' or 'odd' ... doesn't make a difference here... all are welcome here as long as there is no bullshit :)

Very few of my friends can tolerate the gamers. Think its becausethey can't figure themselves out and so they pose, but mostly I think they are lonely. Thanks, hug!!!
